Concept of energy industry

EnergyCloud is not all about selling batteries and solar panels. The term itself energy cloud refers to a new, changing concept of the energy industry. The future of modern energy is based on connecting a large amount of DER (Distributed Energy Resources), operators of ESS (Energy Storage Systems), as well as electricity Generators and consumers, all working together through remote control, and monitoring as virtual power plants (VPP). EnergyCloud’s project goals is to bring all these DERs together, ESS used as Home batteries as well as industrial and commercial scale batteries used by distribution network operators.

Compatibility & service

The Battery container is being charged using solar, wind or other energy resource. The Battery balances energy supply and demand, avoiding significant investments in grids and connections. Further, The Battery provide trading opportunities as well as peak-shaving and harvesting differences on electricity spot-markets. The Battery are being optimised to provide wide range of primary services such as supply of Fast Frequency Response (FFR) to reduce constraints on the network interconnector, reduction of expected unserved energy following loss of supply, involving islanding of the BESS with the local load as well as market trading of elektricity in the NEM and Frequency Control Ancillary Services (FCAS) services. With automatic battery management systems and our power and control electronics it provides fully autonomous, stable and safe energy resource for buildings and facilities in both on-grid and off-grid locations.
