We are a completely Czech company based in Pilsen and we have been on the market for 21 years. During this time we have been working intensively on the development and production of the technology needed to operate the EnergyCloud system. Nothing is imported and everything is entirely Czech. Thanks to the fact that we do not purchase components from various manufacturers in Asian countries, we do not have to deal with problems with their interconnection. This is why we can be sure of the quality of our products and the entire EnergyCloud solution. All the electronic parts of the EnergyCloud system, such as the inverters, battery system and control system, are 100% compatible and together with the software and mobile app create a perfect working unit.

No. The EnergyCloud home battery can charge without PV panels connected, where you charge the battery from the grid instead of the sun, for example from a low tariff or other sources. Another option is to use micro wind or hydroelectric power as an alternative energy source. However, installing a Home Battery with photovoltaics is the most common combination.

No. The installation of the PV and Home Battery is in no way related to the change of electricity supplier.

The actual tested lifetime of a solar rooftop power plant with battery is 20 years. After 20 years, a 20% loss of battery capacity can be expected. However, even after this time, a full 80% of the original battery capacity will still be available.

  • We guarantee the performance of the panels for 25 years and guarantee that the performance will not drop below 80% during this time.
  • The panels are guaranteed for 12 years.
  • Batteries are guaranteed for 5 years or 10,000 cycles, whichever comes first.
  • The inverter is guaranteed for 5 years.
  • The installation is guaranteed for 5 years.

The Comfort system is a three-phase system with asymmetrical regulation and can cover the needs of a standard family house with a standard three-phase distribution and a number of appliances such as a heat pump, electric boiler, pool technology or workshop equipment.

The Economy system is single-phase and is suitable for smaller residential units, weekend residences or where older wiring is present. However, we do not recommend the Economy single-phase solution for homes with three-phase distribution. In this case, it is better to consider how to make better use of the energy produced by the more powerful Comfort set.

Photovoltaic power plants up to 10 kWp are referred to as micro-sources and do not require any licences or permission from the building authority or fire brigade.

The exceptions are installations on buildings that are immovable cultural monuments or located in an area of interest, for example in a landscape conservation area or a protected landscape area.

No, you’re not coming. Installing a Home Battery behind the meter does not affect your Feed-in Tariff or Green Bonus under existing contracts. The replacement of the inverter is only subject to the notification obligation to the ERO and is not related to the Green Bonus entitlement.

Basic info

EnergyCloud’s Home Battery is used to store electrical energy so it is available for later use. The source of this energy can for example be rooftop solar PV system which converts sunlight into usable electricity. You can use this stored energy whenever you need it, even if the sun does not shine.

Yes, we can arrange the New Green Savings Programme subsidy for you. The subsidy is an entitlement subsidy, so if the required conditions are met, you are entitled to it. The state is the guarantor of the subsidy programme.

If you have already used any subsidy for PV or subsidy for new construction in the past, please let us know at the beginning of the communication. There are other conditions and deadlines to meet and it is possible that you may not be eligible for a subsidy.

The conditions set by the state must be strictly observed and after the last necessary act, the subsidy is paid. That is, after installation. Of course, we will sort everything out for you on a turnkey basis.

The conditions are for example:

The house is approved, you are registered as the owner in the cadastre.

The rooftop solar power plant with battery must be paid for and proof of payment must be provided with a bank statement.

The rooftop solar power plant with battery must be installed on site and an inspection report issued for this installation.

If you meet all the conditions, you are entitled to all the subsidies. The amount of the subsidy is calculated on the basis of the proposed solution and reaches up to CZK 225,000 for a rooftop photovoltaic power plant with a battery.

The individual subsidies are not mutually exclusive.

When acquiring a PV solution, you are eligible for other related subsidies.

When purchasing a Wallbox (AC charging station for an electric car), you are entitled to a subsidy of CZK 30,000.

If you purchase the Wallbox with a photovoltaic power plant and a home battery, you can claim an additional CZK 10,000 as a combination bonus. That’s a total of 40.000.- CZK per charger.

When you buy a heat pump, you are entitled to a subsidy for CHP etc.

Payment, price, finance

Yes. Country governments usually support energy storage systems.

Installation of EnergyCloud’s Home Battery “behind the meter” usually does not affect your feed-in tariff or green bonus resulting from existing contracts. It depends on specific conditions of each country.

It is not usually necessary to prepare the house for the installation of a PV system. It is only necessary to clear the places that you and the technician agree on in advance and that serve for the safe access of our installers during the installation, such as the space for the placement of the Home Battery, cable routes, etc. The PV panels are installed on the roof and two narrow cables run from them to be connected to the EnergyCloud Home Battery. How and where the cables are routed depends on the specific house situation, your options and your preferences.

If the wiring is in order, there is enough space for 10 modules, i.e. 17.6 cm. Some customers, however, do not have, for example, a surge protector for the building, in which case it has to be added, which means 3 extra modules. If the customer is not sure and has the fuses redone before our technician visits, it is advisable to provide a 20 cm DIN rail.

Technology

No. EnergyCloud’s Home Battery can be charge without solar panels. Instead you can charge it from the grid during low rate periods and store it for later use when electricity is expensive. Another option is to use a wind or hydro power as an alternative energy source. Though storing energy generated by a PV solar system is the most common solution.

No. Installation of EnergyCloud’s Home Battery does not require a change of energy supplier.

Definitely YES. A heat pump is usually a three-phase appliance with a higher power input. If the electrical power is provided by the rooftop PV and Home Battery, it is a highly efficient combination with great savings.

Installation

No. Despite of the ease of installation, this job is carried out by accredited technicians – EnergyCloud’s partners. These are regionally based certified companies that perform the battery storage system installation, test it and issue an audit report.

There two types of warranty – either minimum of 10000 cycles or 5 years – whichever comes first. The actual lifetime of LiFEPO4 cells tested in laboratory conditions is 20 years. These tests are still ongoing.

Payments and finance

The invoice can be paid from your own funds. At the same time, however, it is possible to take advantage of favourable offers for a long-term loan with a maturity of up to 10 years and a low interest rate. Such financing is often more advantageous than using savings. However, the most common option is a combination of both.
